Ovechkin Set for Chicago

I'm not going to make it to Chicago in time for the morning skate, which I'm told will be very lightly attended anyway.

I've received a few emails from concerned fans about the status of Alex Ovechkin's foot after his Quintin Laing impression in the first period of last night's 4-2 win in Nashville. Ovechkin took a direct hit - looked like on the tongue of his skate - from Greg deVries slap shot and was later hobbling around the locker room.

I checked this morning and was told that he's fine. So I'm expecting Ovechkin to be in the lineup tonight against Blackhawks as the Caps go for a season-high fifth straight win and he continues his pursuit of 60 goals in the only NHL arena in which he has yet to play.

If there are any changes to the lineup, I'll post them before the game.
