Poti Still 'Questionable' For Game 1
Tom Poti practiced again this morning but said he won't know until tomorrow morning's skate whether he'll be able to suit up for Game 1 against the Rangers.
"It is the playoffs, though," said Poti, who's been battling a nagging groin muscle injury for most of the season. "That helps me lean one way."
If Poti does play, it's unclear which of the seven defenseman will sit out. But Brian Pothier stayed on the ice for extra work, which could mean he'll be the odd man out. We likely won't know for sure until tomorrow.
I'll have some additional notes and quotes in a little bit.

I'm all for pothoer over schultz. If there's gonna be no hitting, might as well get some good passing out of it.

No slacker, Mr. Drury
After not skating fro four days, Chris Drury practiced today and said he expecetd to play in Game 1 on Wednesday, barring some unforseen circumstance.
Henrik Lundqvist, told of Alex Ovechkin remarks that his equipment was too big, laughed it off. "I'm happy that someone thinks I'm big. No way you can cheat, they measure all the time and I've been using the same stuff all year."
More in a few...

I got NHL Center Ice for the playoff push. I couldn't sustain my hockey watching at that pace, but I have enjoyed the last few weeks. Anyhow, I've caught a lot of Rangers games for obvious playoff implication reasons and Drury really has not been an impact for some time. I've always liked him because he's an American that has done well in the NHL. Not to mention the winning pitcher for a Little League World Series championship. My point...I don't think he will be a factor even if he does return right now.

Finally the fact that I get MSG-HD is working in my favor. Also, I was able to get tickets through ticketmaster to Game 4 right on the glass (Section 34) which I will put up on Ebay but wanted to run it by the Caps faithful first. They were not cheap but I will sell it to a Caps fan for the face value which is $280 each. I know, it's alot but you can literaly yell at Avery after Ovechkin sends him through the glass onto your lap.

NHL Fan Fav Award:
The winner will be announced at the NHL Awards in July. Caps fans should be voting, because both Green and Ovechkin are in the race! You register and then you can vote once a day, well or at least once for our guys!

Thanks to Mr. Kelly for the shout out on the previous post. Yes, I am getting married ... on Saturday ... during the caps game. haha. I was not thinking about Capitals playoffs when we scheduled. Oh well, such is life. I fully expect that when I return from my honeymoon I will have more playoff games to look forward to! GO CAPS!

I wonder what the verdict is so far on Pothier's performance since his return (in the coaches eyes)
