Practice Update
Alexander Semin, Donald Brashear and Brian Pothier did not skate today because of various, but minor, ailments. Semin is going to play tomorrow, Brashear and Pothier and probable.
There was some positive news regarding Mike Green, who missed Thursday's game with an injured foot. The rookie skated on his own and afterward said he felt good. So good, in fact, he might play against the Panthers.

Kerplunk: oh yeah, I remember Calle lacing 'em up. He was a real tough guy. How about this (and this goes WAY back): you remember when Paul McKinnon got hit in the face with a puck - it broke his jaw - and where most guys would have dropped to the ice, he finished his shift!
One question: I can understand how Jagr might have let you down as a "fan" but how did he let you down... "as a person"???!!!

Tokyo Fan:
I only know of the McKinnon incident through folklore and fable.
As for your question: "how did he [jagr] let you down as a person", every time he clipped his toe nail too short and sat out for the pain, I felt like personally kicking his ass: )

I booed jagr while he was a CAP, and got in a several fights at MCI because of it. Now that he is gone everyone wants to jump on my bandwagon. He is one of the biggest squirrels to ever play the game. It's shameful that he is allowed to wear the C for the rags.

Squirrels can have pretty good years in the NHL after they leave Washington.

'At a boy, Green. I'm sure it hurts like hell and its likely sore. I remember Calle Jo putting a broken foot into his boot and lacing up...anyone else remember that? There were so many times when, as a fan, Jagr let me down and, as a person, Jagr let me down. Any war, and Men we've made sure that everything is war, will grind you down slow. To win, you stop doing it for you yourself, your parents, your country, and start to do it your eachother. 'At a boy, Green.
