Semin Is Okay (We Think)

Alexander Semin appeared to suffer an injury to his left leg after Carolina defenseman Dennis Seidenberg slashed him in the final seconds. Semin was seen walking around in the locker room, so the injury is not believed to be serious. It's also, obviously, not related to the right ankle sprain that has dogged him all season.

Interim Coach Bruce Boudreau said there would be an update on his status tomorrow.

Update:I won't be around to hear about Semin's condition today. I'm taking my second game of the season off. Amy Shipley, as always, will be handing the duties in Sunrise, Fla.
