Semin Skating

Alexander Semin is on the ice practicing with his teammates but was mostly stretching along the boards.

Donald Brashear (leg bruise) is also out on the Kettler ice, as is Karl Alzner (hand bruise), John Erskine (concussion) and Brian Pothier (concussion) once again.

More to come.

Well, that's good news.
I can't wait to hearr how he looks or how close he might be to returning to the lineup.

Semin should be ready to go, then wait another two weeks for the hell of it. He is made of glass.

I heard somewhere that Malkin stormed off after the meeting. Not sure how reliable that was though, or if any iPods were harmed as a result of the meeting :)

I wish that VC would show scores of the college football games tonight. Really interested in how the Rose Bowl ends up and of course will be calling home during intermissions to check on my Hokies.

Happy New Year all! All the best for 2009.

Anyone with any links for the Winter Classic? I had hoped Mauree would be on the case but reading recent threads he seems to be away. Can anyone fill his big shoes?

Happy 2009 everybody!

Here's to a New Year full of Bruin, Red Wing and Shark losses ;)

And I agree with the comment that Semin seems to be made of glass! If the Caps continue their winning ways, PLEASE Coach B make sure he is 100% before returning. I feel he's going to play a pivotal role in the playoffs this year.
