Tonight's lineup: Lightning at Caps

By Katie Carrera

Michal Neuvirth will start in net for the Capitals and oppose Tampa Bay's Dan Ellis (4-2-2, 2.11 GAA, .924 save percentage) as Washington tries to extend its winning streak, which stands at five games. The Capitals are also 7-1-0 at Verizon Center.

It appears as though Tom Poti will return to the lineup after missing the past eight games with a groin injury, and that Mike Knuble will start the game on the top line with Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom.

Here's what tonight's lineup should look like:

Forwards
Ovechkin-Backstrom-Knuble
Laich-Fleischmann-Semin
Chimera-Gordon-Fehr
Hendricks-Steckel-Bradley

Defense
Schultz-Green
Alzner-Carlson
Poti-Erskine

Goal
Neuvirth
Holtby

Scratches: D.J. King, Marcus Johansson and Tyler Sloan.

I second CaptKirk's opinion -- no twitter nonsense for the game. Just let us old farts post the old fashioned way.
