The Caps Will Pick ...
Fifth overall after Chicago won today's draft lottery. The Blackhawks, who finished 26th, leapfrogged the Caps (27th), knocking them back a spot. The Caps had a 10.7 percent chance of winning.
It's way too early to predict which player the Caps might take. In fact, I've got a hunch they might trade the pick.
