Tonight's Lineup: Caps at Penguins

Simeon Varlamov will start tonight in Game 4 as the Caps aim to bring a 3-1 series lead back to Washington. Marc-Andre Fleury, meantime, will be in net for the Pens.

Coach Bruce Boudreau scrambled his lines a bit. It looks like defenseman John Erskine will return. Based on warmups, here's what Caps' lineup should look like:

Forwards
Ovechkin-Fedorov-Kozlov
Laich-Backstrom-Semin
Clark-Steckel-Bradley
Fleischmann-Gordon-Beagle

Defense
Morrisonn-Green
Jurcina-Poti
Erskine-Pothier

If anything changes, I'll post an update. If not, I'll have some postgame notes and quotes a little later.

hey, i know it's very game 3...but I was away from my computer and was wondering what people thought of shaone's decision to deflect that puck past varly instead of blocking it or getting out of the way. I like 26's game, and it was maybe just a fluke play, but come on..put your shinguards together and block the fing thing!!!

from previous post:

apollak8: you've got the right spirit: "they should be fine once they find their stride. I'm positive they'll win tonight, Semin or no Semin."

I hope they find their stride soon and maintain it.

LETS GO CAPS!!!

I wish Backie would go back up to center OV's line with Kozzie. I think Semin might need a veteran (and fellow Russian) presence of Fedorov on his line. I was also hoping to see Mo sit and give Sloan another game. Owell.. C'mon Caps!!!
