Tonight's Lineup: Caps at Thrashers (Updated)

Jose Theodore will start in goal at Philips Arena and will oppose Kari Lehtonen as both teams seek franchise records. The Caps can tie the club mark for consecutive wins (6) and the Thrashers are going for a club record sixth straight win.

As I mentioned earlier, the star power will be a little down tonight. Sergei Fedorov and Donald Brashear are definitely out for Washington and Mike Green didn't participate fully in warm-ups. So Green looks to be out, too, meaning Brian Pothier will make his return from a 14-month layoff because of post-concussion syndrome. Atlanta, meantime, is without leading scorer Ilya Kovalchuk.

Assuming Green is out -- I won't know for certain until game time -- the lineup should look like this:

Forwards
Ovechkin-Backstrom-Kozlov
Laich-Nylander-Semin
Fleischmann-Aucoin-Fehr
Steckel-Gordon-Bradley

Defense
Morrisonn-Poti
Schultz-Jurcina
Erskine-Pothier

Check back later for some postgame notes and quotes.

Update:Green is a scratch.

It is really nice to see "Pothier" listed as playing in the game. Such a great story!

NHL Gamecenter is garbage. $30/mo and this game is blacked out.

I was on the road in February and tried to use gamecenter as well and it was blacked out for me. It was a Versus night for that game and it is on Versus again tonight. My guess is that is why it is blacked out.

It probably has to do with where you call 'home'. If you call the DC area home, then even if you are on the road, the DC feed will always be blacked out. Gamecenter and Center Ice are intended for out-of-town feeds only.

This team can't score and can't defend, nothing changes from game to game....
