Tonight's Lineup

Here's the Caps' lineup for tonight's preseason game against Carolina Hurricanes at Verizon Center:

Goalies:Kolzig, Johnson.

Forwards:Ovechkin, Kozlov, Fleischmann, Semin, Nylander, Backstrom, Bourque, Laich, Klepis, Pettinger, Steckel and Gordon.

Defense:Morrisonn, Eminger, Schultz, Green, Poti, Pothier.

Note: The Caps will wear their white jerseys, so that the red jerseys make their debut in the home opener.

Also, I hear the sound system was also upgraded in addition to the new HD screens and televisions.

Update:Since a few of you have asked, the game will be broadcast on the Caps' website. From the team's release:

Washington Capitals fans can watch and listen to tonight's home preseason game versus Carolina and the final two home preseason home games live on The Capitals and Hurricanes drop the puck at 7 p.m. and Steve Kolbe, the voice of the Capitals for the last 10 years, and former Capital Ken Sabourin will call the game live from Verizon Center.
Fans will also be able to listen to the Capitals lone remaining preseason road game on Sept. 26, at Philadelphia on Mike Vogel, senior writer for, will join Kolbe in the booth to call the action from Wachovia Center.

Hope that helps.
