So, Cap'n, do you suppose the pony in the Hadeed carpet commercial is called "Stecksie"?

I don't know floridacapsfan, why would he be called "Stecksie"?

Posted by: FloridaCapsFan | December 6, 2010 8:40 PM | Report abuse

Because.....drum roll please.....he's a one-trick pony.

What a terrible showing by the Caps. Win or lose they just blew it.

BB looks remarkably calm considering what just transpired. Maybe he's thinking what the next practice will be all about.

Too soft Caps. They're going to have to show me something now. Another early exit, it doesn't matter who they play. What a pity.

Second Capt_Kirk_in_AZ's comments. This twitter feed is crap. Please get rid of it.

Notice that the same thing happened the last time that the Caps made a mid-season trade. Last year when Chimera arrived they lost three straight. Now it happens again.

Needless to say, the Caps are struggling. Dropping a 4-1 lead at home and in the third period is simply inexcusable. Why couldn't they learn from the Thrashers and what they were able to accomplish this past weekend? It's going to take some big decisions to turn this thing around. Look out below...the Thrashers are on your heels.

I said this last year. Caps won't win with Boudreau! He must Go! This team is reverting back to it's old self. They don't get the big picture no matter what they say or do. BB can't get this team to play a full 60 min. Look at the Damn Pen's! Look at Crosby! Thats is a team driven to succeed! Crosby is the best player in the NHL hands down. He has left Ovi in the dust! The Pens will win the East because they no how to grind out wins! The Caps do not. I'm tired of this crap! Bruce Boudreau hasn't shown he knows how to coach a winner! And the Presidents Cup doesn't count! Only one Cup counts and that's the Stanley Cup which the Caps won't even get a sniff of! It's gotten to the point that I can't even watch my local teams anymore! From the Redskins to the Wizards and all the rest in between! Washington D.C. is known for one thing these days...GRID LOCK...and in more ways than one!

I hate when people start going crazy over meaningless December games. As much as these games seem so significant now, they are worthless. As we saw last year, doing well in the regular season means nothing, especially early on. The point of the regular season is to work out the kinks so that you are going on all cylinders come playoff time. Those teams end up winning the Cup. The Caps will be fine by the end of the season and I actually would prefer them getting a 2 or 3 as opposed to a 1 seed because then the overconfidence can't be as big of an issue. But bottom line is RELAX. These games don't matter.
