Up Next: The Best Thing in Pro Sports

I've only covered one NHL Game 7 in my career and I remember it like it was yesterday -- Calgary at Tampa Bay in the 2004 Stanley Cup Finals. There's nothing like it in professional sports. The hits are harder, the plays develop quicker and the shots are faster as both teams crank up the intensity level.

Tonight's game between the Caps and Flyers should be no exception.

If you're just joining us, go back and read an earlier post to catch up on injuries and some Game 7 history.
