OV was the logical choice, and he'll be a great captain. Nice win, too, to celebrate.
In other news, the US just went up 5-3 on Canada in the gold medal game. 13 minutes left in the 3rd period. Here's hoping our boys can seal the win!

I agree, wtf. I was going through serious withdrawal.
Yep, Flash looked good, and it would be a wonderful thing for the team if he continues to play this well at center. Poti had a nice game too--if only he could consistently play this solid. Looks like the gents enjoyed being home tonight; hope they can enjoy the Sens game just as much on Thursday. (I know I'll enjoy it more in HD.)

Carlson another goal tonight against Canada... a shot from the point
I don't think he has the hardest shot out there but from what I've seen, he hits the net with it.
when was kevin hatcher a captain? I don't remember that one

carlsons goal was sick!!!
came down the left wing (as a right handed shot) on a rush that turned into a 3-1 and he pivoted backwards looking to pass the whole time...he bascially looked up as he crossed the blue line at his two options as he skated in an pivoted and never even looked at the goal and ultimately fired a no look wrister short side...
unbelievably sick!!!
