Video: Caps on playoff memories
With the 2010 NHL postseason set to begin, Capitals players talk about their favorite playoff moments. Perhaps the best response came from Alexander Semin, who said in Russian, "I don't remember." (He eventually came up with an answer.)

I loved this video - especially getting to hear Varlomov and Semin speak in their native tongue, with the subtitles.
Oh, that looks like a good shooting / skating drill, to boot.

Bradley's jock strap hanging in the background. Priceless.

Semin clearly speaks English though right? I mean he talks to his non-Russian teammates...so what's with native tongue?

On Semin, first saying "I don't remember" and then coming up with an answer. In general, the introverts are not as "quick" to reply to anything. But later will come up with an answer after some thought. (And the introverts are probably less articulate in their non-native language.)

Great video! I hope their best memories are of winning the Cup after this post season.
According to the Caps boards, Backstrom told a Swedish newspaper that he is bedridden with a bad cold. Thank goodness.

Bäckis:
Try 1000+ mg Vitamin C, 50 to 100 mg zinc supplement, echinacea and/or goldenseal (capsules or tea).
Works for me.
Feel better soon!

So, Tarik, what is the story on Backstrom? Is he hurt, sick, or neither. You tweeted that he was questionable, but haven't put that in the Post (you only mentioned here that he missed practice). Was he just getting an extra day of rest, since he never got any rest in the regular season, or should we be worried that he might not play? Is it a story or not? Do tell. I'm guessing he just got a day of rest and BB is playing mind games with the Habs.
