Video: Ovechkin making progress

Alex Ovechkin didn't skate with his teammates this morning, but he did come onto the ice afterward. He took slap shots and did full wind-ups, something he hasn't been able to do since suffering a left shoulder strain on Nov. 1.

Today's focus has been stickhandling and shooting, whereas the last few times he hit the ice, it was mostly skating. Here's another video:

Ovie looks much more comfortable than in the last practice video.

I get the feeling Ovi enjoys being videotaped during practice, the way he skated over to Tarik in the 2nd one.
