Statistical analysis: Keys to a Winter Classic victory for Capitals
By Neil Greenberg
While most people outside the Beltway don't think Washington stands much of a chance against Sidney Crosby and company on such a big stage,
I just turned 40 a cpl wks ago & one thing I really miss is when reporters were actually correct! If you heard it from a media source it was 100% on. Now you get media companies to hire people just because they have an opinion. Well what if that opinion is wrong? That seems to be more the norm these days. Take this clown for example. With the above statement you'd think it'd take another "miracle on ice" for us to win. Yet on, something that is no more connected to DC than Dulles Airport has a poll up and 56% of those polled think the Caps will win. Now unless the majority of those polled actually live inside the beltway then your OPINION is WRONG! That's like saying the majority of the people who fly in to Dulles actually step foot in to DC.
