CommuteCast: No Weather Worries
Mostly clear and dry
After overnight light rain and showers put about a third of an inch in the bucket, skies have cleared nicely in the metro area this afternoon. Once again, the air behind a cold front passing through the region in mid afternoon is relatively mild, so temperatures won't tumble dramatically. Currently, they're mainly in the upper 50s. To the south, Fredericksburg reached as high as 68, and 70s were common in the Richmond area.
Tonight: Temps will drop to the low 50s for the commute home, reaching lows of 37-42 in the city overnight, low to mid 30s in the 'burbosphere, under partly cloudy skies.
Tomorrow's commute forecast: Sleep in! For your Saturday activities, highs will be 49-54 under partly cloudy skies.
See Camden's post for the rest of the forecast, including a look ahead to some possible wintriness for late Sunday into Monday.
