Forecast: Perfect Holiday Weekend Weather
Enjoy the divine weather starting now and lasting right through Memorial Day. Four consecutive Capital Weather Gang designated "nice days" are on the way. Lather on that sunscreen, put on that bathing suit, and fire up the grill. Ohhh yeah.
Sunny, gorgeous! Mid 70s. Very comfortable, NON-humid air will make mid 70s feel superb. What's keeping such a pleasant air mass over our region? A dip in the jet stream tapping Canadian air and promoting a dry wind from the northwest at the surface in the 10 to 15 mph range.
Into the evening & overnight hours, it will become partly to mostly cloudy due to a weak disturbance passing by to our south. Towards dawn it should clear out with lows in the lower 50s.
Confidence: High

TOMORROW
Beautiful. Lower 70s. What more do you need beyond the synopsis headline? Tomorrow = GREAT. Northwest breezes continue to keep that summer humidity at bay... yes, please!
After dinnertime, skies remain clear. Low temperatures could dip near 50 in some outlying areas... slightly warmer downtown.
Confidence: High
SUNDAY
Sunny & warmer. Upper 70s. It's a major heatwave! Temperatures may touch 80 in southern parts of the region! Sarcasm aside, put on that sunscreen. UV rays are approaching their summer solstice highs, as we near June 21. Enjoy those sunny skies and perfect BBQ temperatures.
Overnight, clear. Temperatures will be a little higher than the previous night, with lows in the upper 50s (but 5-10 degrees cooler in the suburbs).
Confidence: High
Beautiful weather continues into Monday with virtually no breeze to speak of, for once. But with highs in the low 80s, it won't be warm enough to crave a breeze. Confidence: Medium-High
On Tuesday, some humidity enters the region, along with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Summer is here! Temperatures will likely bounce into the upper 80s. Confidence: Medium
