Name That Weather Tune

By Jason Samenow

Here are the first two lines:

There's a bright golden haze on the meadow
There's a bright golden haze on the meadow

If you're stumped, the riveting lip sync (video link) by an Alabama weatherman offers a strong hint but no cheating by searching the lyric in Google :)

Bonus points: Name the musical the tune is from and composer.

That was easy, she said with a sniff, esp. b/c the Brits (the Brits?!) recently did a revival. (Actually, I'm just peeved that Donna in Ashburn beat me to it. :) You do know, CWG guys, that you've now doomed us to hum--or worse SING--that tune till bedtime? Are you gonna do this to us AGAIN any time soon?

Thanks Jason!

And I promise you, I did not cheat; I'm just a musicals buff ;-)
