CommuteCast: Warmth with Low Humidity
Mostly sunny, bordering on hot Friday
Pleasant summertime conditions returned to the area, on a drying wind, behind the cold front today. Temperatures are rising to the mid and upper 80s, so the warmth remains, but the lacking humidity makes a big difference. This evening will be a great one to get outside as temperatures fall back to around 80 near sunset.
Tonight: Mostly clear skies and light winds will combine to produce an uneventful night. Low temperatures will be able to fall a bit lower than recently -- expect lows to drop to the low 60s in the suburbs and upper 60s in the city.
Tomorrow: We end the week with a gorgeous (albeit slightly hot) day. Humidity remains low, winds will be light, and skies will be mostly sunny. Temperatures should climb a few degrees higher than they did today, with many spots hitting or topping 90.

There was a lot of dense cirrus cloudiness earlier this afternoon. Perhaps this was from the remnants of midwestern thunderstorms.
