Is Your Kid the Next Jim Cantore or Bob Ryan?
If your child is a budding TV weathercaster, get out your camcorder and starting filming. The Weather Channel (TWC) is seeking video weather forecasts from kids under the age of 18 and has $100 gift prize packages for the best in three categories: "most creative," "most entertaining," and "most likely to be a meteorologist."
The best overall video will win a grand prize trip for four to Atlanta to tour TWC's new HD studio, including three nights with hotel, flight and car rental. Visit TWC's Kidscast page for more information and to view some of the early submissions (deadline is July 31). So far, Ryan the Weather Geek has got to be the front runner with his smooth, authoritative delivery.

Jim Cantore ----- I hope my kid is not the next Jim Cantore! He is kind of an egotistical jerk.
