Partly sunny Wednesday, shower/storm late?

Superb summertime conditions continue today as mostly clear skies lead to highs largely in the mid 80s across the region. A nice breeze from the northwest is also keeping humidity levels in check, and the typical heat and humidity of August can remain a memory for now. Expect mostly clear skies to continue through the evening with temperatures falling back through the 70s.

Tonight: Cool temperatures, mostly clear skies, and some more Perseid meteors will be the stories of the night. Though it may be a few degrees warmer than last night, many in the suburbs will fall to near 60 while those in the city see readings closer to the mid 60s. Winds will be light and variable.

Tomorrow: After a cool start, mostly sunny skies in the morning will lead to temperatures quickly rising toward highs in the mid 80s. By afternoon, clouds will be on the increase, and some showers or thunderstorms may form across the area. You may notice a slight increase in humidity, but overall levels will remain bearable.

See Matt's full forecast through the weekend, and check out NatCast or UnitedCast for tonight's games.

Looks as though I can try a "Bombocast" this morning. [Comcast says there still is a general "high-speed" Internet issue in my area. It has been acting more like the turtle in their commercial!]

Today, Mainly cloudy, somewhat muggy, high 86F. Tonight, Muggy, low 69-64F. Tomorrow, mainly cloudy, high 85F. Chance of shower/thundershower, 20% today, 10% tonight, 30% tomorrow.

Current, 79F, 29.89 steady. Ci/Cs and some Ac undulatus, clng. 21.1K' per Wx Channel. Some contrails. Some chance of rain this PM, but minimal. DanceCast for Friday, important dance, 8-12 PM @ Elks Lodge, so why do we have these thundershowers again in the forecast???
