Forecast: Return to Summer Stickiness
Muggy, mid-summer like weather is back this weekend. Today and especially tomorrow will be warm and very humid. On the plus side, outside some spotty showers this morning, the chances of rain are pretty low through Monday, when the remnants of Ike will pass well to our north.
Cloudy, warm, and humid. Widely scattered showers. Mid 80s. The best chance for showers (40% chance) will be in the morning, but even then they'll be spotty. During the afternoon, we should see partial sunshine and just a 20% chance of showers. Temperatures should reach the low-to-mid 80s.
Partly cloudy skies overnight and mild. Lows drop to just the low 70s in the city and upper 60s in the suburbs.
Confidence: Medium-high
Keep reading for the forecast into early next week. See UnitedCast and SkinsCast for the outlook for upcoming games.
Partly sunny and hot. Low 90s. Tropical flow from the south will crank up the heat and humidity. Skies will be partly sunny and afternoon highs should crack 90, and it will feel more like the mid 90s factoring in the humidity.
Mostly cloudy overnight, with just a slight chance of showers (25%). Lows will be near 70.
On Monday, the remnants of Ike will race by well to our north, far enough away that we'll miss the bulk of its moisture. A passing cold front cold trigger a shower or thunderstorm late in the afternoon. Otherwise, expect a partly sunny and warm day, with highs in the mid 80. Confidence: Medium
High pressure builds in Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds from the northwest will usher in cooler and drier air. Both days should be pretty pleasant with sunny skies, low humidity and highs near 80. Confidence: Medium

Congratulations Rishi and Kalorama Park. Let's hope it doesn't become overbearingly hot for y'all.

Today's weddings should be safe, then. Congrats, Kalorama Park and Rishi! (Separate weddings, not marrying each other. ;-)
