Forecast: Outstanding Outdoors

This holiday weekend gifts us a trio of nice days, with beautiful sunshine throughout. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s to near 80 each afternoon, which is about 6-10 degrees above average. What a great time to spend some time outside. This could well be the last weekend it's warm enough to wear shorts until the spring...

TODAY (SATURDAY)

Sunny, 75-79. You may want a light jacket or sweatshirt early in the morning, with temperatures in the mid 40s to the low 50s. But the sun will go to work quickly, with temperatures climbing above 70 by noon. By the mid-to-late afternoon, a few spots will get near 80-- perfect weather for the Taste of Georgetown. Winds will be light.

Clear skies overnight, with lows from the mid 40s in the cooler suburbs to the low 50s downtown.

Confidence: Medium-High
