Katrina Returns to Apologize

By Ann Posegate

The Onion reports that Hurricane Katrina recently returned to New Orleans to apologize for the damage it inflicted during its first visit over three years ago.

"According to witnesses, the extremely remorseful 120-mile-wide storm was initially sighted off the Louisiana coast nervously rotating in circles and emitting long sighs that reached 115 mph."

Read more about the hurricane's remorseful return here.

Oh wow, I am so going to h*ll for laughing at this. This is satire at it's best. Whoever wrote this deserves some sort of controversy-filled award.

"Meterologists...classify Katrina as a 'Category 4 swirling maelstrom of guilt.'"
