Another day of plentiful sunshine has led to more warmer than average temperatures. Highs have reached the mid-to-upper 70s as a light wind from the north and northeast adds just a touch of occasional coolness to the air. Look for more clear skies and comfortable conditions through the evening as temperatures fall back through the 60s after sunset.

Tonight: No weather troubles will greet Friday night fans this week, but a light jacket or sweater may be required for any after-dark activities. With clear skies and lower dew points than last night, expect temperatures to tumble a good bit from daytime highs, eventually reaching the mid 40s in the cooler suburbs to the low 50s in D.C.

Tomorrow: Saturday will be a brilliant start to another gorgeous weekend across the area. Sunny skies will be the story of the day while highs rise toward the mid 70s. A light wind from the northeast will continue.
