Did anyone stay through until the final decision to call the game yesterday? My understanding is they waited it out until just before 3:30, and then called it, which seems strange because by around 3 to 3:15 pm there were strong indications from radar that there was going to be at least a few-hour break in the rain starting around 3:30 p.m., which there pretty much was. Would be interested in thoughts from anyone who was at the stadium?

It might have been that even if the rain stopped the field was not in playable condition, which could be a problem with tonight's game even if the rain does stop. The outfield was kind of slushy.

Does the Nats Cast get updated during the day, or is it only a one-time 5AM post? I'd like a little update before I choose to make the hour long Metro ride. (But I am known to be selfish...)

@Section138
NatCast is updated during the day if necessary. Don't think it requires updating today... rain will be diminishing, the game should be played, but there's still a 50/50 chance of showers, esp early in the game.
