FORECAST IN DETAIL
Our work week with incessant drizzle, clouds, and showers is mercifully over. On the menu for weekend is mostly sunshine. A chill will linger in the air today, but warmer temperatures arrive tomorrow. Unfortunately, the mild, sunny weather will be short-lived as unsettled weather returns early next week.
Today (Saturday): Dress warmly if you're headed out early this morning. Temperatures will only be in the 30s and factoring in the wind, it will feel like the 20s. Gradually, though, the wind will settle down and temperatures will rise. Highs will reach the low 50s or so under sunny skies. Winds from the west at 15-20 mph early in the day should diminish to about 10 mph by evening.Confidence: High
Tonight: It will be clear, calm, and cold. Outlying areas will dip to near 30 with mid-to-upper 30s inside the beltway. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow (Sunday): The nicest weather in about a week arrives. Sunshine and a light wind from the southwest will elevate temperatures towards 60 degrees. Enjoy...it could be the last 60 degree day for a while... Confidence: Medium-High
Tomorrow Night: Clear skies early will be followed by increasing clouds late. Lows will range from 38-44 (suburbs-city). Confidence: Medium-High
A cold front swings through the area Monday producing cloudy skies and likely showers (60% chance). Highs will probably be in the low-to-mid 50s. Gradual clearing, breezy, and colder Monday night, with lows in the 30s.Confidence: Medium
Partly sunny, breezy, and cool Tuesday as high pressure builds in from the west. Highs will likely be near 50. Confidence: Medium-High
