Say 'happy holidays' with a snowball

By Ann Posegate

* Consistently cold: Full Forecast | Weekend snow? *

New from The Weather Channel: If Hallmark cards are not your style (or if you need to send a holiday greeting to someone who is not your favorite person), try sending a friendly, personalized snowball right into the recipient's face ... virtually and in good fun, of course. Choose from the faces of Jim Cantore, Stephanie Abrams and other well-known meteorologists, or just be honest and use your own. Then, decide upon your setting and pitch, and email away!

Great for a distraction or an honest-to-goodness holiday greeting from a weather weenie.

Wanna see the real thing? Check out this video from Madison, Wisconsin last week where over 3500 University of Wisconsin students participated in a massive snowball fight after a storm dumped 19" and classes were canceled due to snow for the first time in nearly 45 years...

Hopefully, we'll get at least one snowfall this winter that's significant enough for a snowball fight like that! Keep checking back for this weekend's winter weather forecast.
