By Jason Samenow

To commemorate Snowmageddon and the record-breaking snows of 2009-2010 in Washington, D.C., the Capital Weather Gang is now selling t-shirts. A number of readers requested these, so we're excited to make them available. The shirts were designed by Eric Shansby (visit, the cartoonist for Gene Weingarten in the Washington Post Magazine.

At the moment, we have two shirts available: the one shown in the image above which is two-sided, and a second front-side only shirt. These shirts are available exclusively at Our store is easy to access with the web address:

I am one of the organizers of the big Dupont snowball fight!

If you were able to join the fight on Saturday, February 6, or the rematch on Wednesday, February 10, or even if you just want to enjoy a part of DC history – check out these T-shirts, mugs, magnets and sticker! Designed by Eighty2degrees (, a local design studio. Part of the profits will be donated for earthquake relief in Haiti.
Please check out our shop here:

grantohill, that's good to know. So Others May Eat (SOME) is a great charity. I wonder who's profiting from sales of this ugly CWG shirt?

As evidenced in the photos, T-shirts look like doo doo on women.

The only ones that called it Snowmageddeon were the WAPO and that idiot in the White House.

@zcxnissan, I have no idea where you've been the entire time, but everyone here called it Snowmageddon, and that was long before Obama made mention of it. It has subsequently been dubbed "Snowmageddon" all over FB too, as well as on the TWC, and on Accuweather.

Even the news in Oz picked up on this name:
