Definitely wear a long sleeve t-shirt under your Nats jersey today! Conditions will improve throughout the game as more sun comes to shine on those on the east side of the stadium. Don't forget your shades for the later innings!

NatCast appears on the day of every Nationals home game. Also, if you haven't already, join us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.

Next: Forecast: A chilly Sunday, but turning milder

Let's hope this afternoon's game is as "hot" as Livan Hernandez' and the Nats' bats' spectacular performance yesterday. A sweep of the normally hot-hitting Brewers is within our grasp.

Today the Nats are above .500 and tied for third with the Braves. Let's keep up the good work, even with the Orioles faltering.

May I suggest switching NatsCast logos to the white curly W instead....I think with a transparent background the header will look sharper and more refined.
