Nationals vs. PhilliesThursday April 8, 4:35 p.m., Nationals Park
| First Pitch | 9th Inning | Weather | Chance of Rain |
| Upper 70s | Lower 60s | Thunderstorms likely | 70% |
Thunderstorms are likely to sweep through the area sometime during the game. The good news is they are likely to be fairly fast moving but the first rain delay of the season is a distinct possibility. If thunderstorms do threaten, head for cover in the concession areas. A towel to dry off that seat might be a good idea too. Oh yes, and a jacket by late in the game might be needed as temperatures will drop in the wake of the storms.
