PM Update: Heat makes another D.C. visit

90s return Friday and maybe into the weekend

Yesterday's rain is just a memory as we pick up yet another taste of summer. Today is the start of a several day warm stretch, but it's not so bad right now and even the hottest part won't be too bad compared to what we've already been through. Temperatures headed for the upper 80s most spots today are likely to climb past 90 tomorrow and maybe into the first part of the weekend.

Through Tonight: Mostly clear and uneventful on the weather front. Temperatures near 80 at sunset fall to lows in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Tomorrow (Friday): Friday is looking pretty hot for this time of year. However, we're pros at this stuff by now. Low 90s for highs should do it most places, but a mid-90 or two won't be impossible to attain. Humidity won't be comfortable though not as high as it could be.

Weatherman gives the finger: BBC weatherman Tomasz Schafernaker is in hot water after cameras caught him making an obscene gesture to his on-air colleague.
