Security camera records tornado taking out trailers

By Jason Samenow

PM Update: Cool and windy tonight and tomorrow

Two maintenance trailers were there and then they were gone. All it took was a wicked tornado and three seconds. Watch the video above and if you're short on time, fast forward to 45 seconds in when the destruction occurs.

The twister occurred at Chickamauga Lock in Chattanooga, Tenn, on Tuesday (Oct. 26, 2010).

Kinda amazed at the cars driving past in the background both before and after .... nothing in the weather there to alarm them????

I noticed the vehicles on the highway too. It's like watching impending doom. But other than being wobbled a bit by the wind, they seemed mostly okay. I think there was a gap in traffic at the key moment.

Looks like the tornado started a few fires, maybe electrical stuff?

@tinkerbelle - I thought that too but I think it's just a light - its in the same spot before and after.
