Noteworthy Committee Hearings
The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee holds a hearing on the nomination of Rep. Hilda Solis (D-Calif.) to become Labor secretary in the incoming administration. Washingtonpost.com's Federal Eye suggests some questions that Solis may receive following testimony.
The House Financial Services kicked off a hearing at 10 a.m., the Federal Housing Administration Oversight of Loan Originators. Officials from the Housing and Urband Development department and the National Association of Mortgage Bankers testify.
Suspensions:
H.Res. 34 - Recognizes Israel's right to defend itself against attacks from Gaza, reaffirms our nation's support for Israel and desire to push the Israeli-Palestinian peace process (House Speaker Nancy Pelosi - Committee on Foreign Affairs).

Israel's right to defend itself.Do not necessarily give them right to kill children and defenceloose woman,that is a warcrime.An that is a scandal,that the white House defence Israel in that matter.
