Today on the Hill
The House meets at 10 a.m. to consider under suspension of the rules H. Res. 40 which would require periodic committee hearings on the topic of waste, fraud, abuse, or mismanagement in government programs. The House also will consider H.R. 2, SCHIP reauthorization and H.R. 384 TARP Reform and Accountability Act.
The Senate convenes at 9:30 a.m. to resume consideration of S. 22, the public lands bill. A cloture vote on S. 22 is expected to take place at 10:30 a.m.

The Small Business Committee holds a hearing on "The State of the Small Business Economy and Identifying Policies to Promote an Economic Recovery" at 10 a.m. Members of the business community testify.
