Today on the Hill
The Senate convenes at 10 a.m. for a period of morning business. There will be no roll call votes today.
Sen. Ken Salazar (D-Colo.) will deliver a farewell address as he prepares to assume the role of secretary of the interior in the Obama Administration.
Former aide to Vice President-elect Joe Biden (D-Del.) Ted Kaufman is slated to be sworn-in to the 111th Congress to fill Biden's Senate seat.
The House will convene at 4 p.m. for a pro forma session.
