The Senate convenes at 10 a.m. ET and will resume consideration of H.R.2997, the Agriculture Appropriations bill. Following votes on amendments late morning, the Senate will recess until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus luncheons.
The House is in recess through September 7.
