Town Hall Talk: The Latest Banter on Health Care

Updated, 12:45 p.m.

Here's a flavor of the latest bites taken at congressmen for their positions on health-care reform and a rundown of upcoming town hall meetings to monitor:

Little Rock, Ark. -- Jill Zeman Bleed of the AP writes that Reps. Mike Ross (D) and Vic Snyder (D) were grilled in Little Rock by constituents for saying they couldn't fully support "a government-run, single-payer health insurance plan." Ross, a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee has led Blue Dog Democrats in delaying a vote on health care legislation.

See video of a protester questioning Ross at yesterday's event here.

St. Petersburg, Fla. -- Alex Leary of the St. Petersburg Times writes on The Buzz, that the DCCC launched a robocall campaign yesterday targeting 25 congressional districts, including Rep. Bill Young's (R). The Florida congressman was accused for "being a pawn of the health insurance industry."

Very interesting to see so many ( crowds )against health care reform. What is the Republican Party's population of these crowds?
