Today on the Hill
The Senate convenes at 10:00 a.m. ET and will resume consideration of S.1023, the Travel Promotion Act. The Senate will stand in recess from 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus luncheons.
The House meets at 10:00 a.m. ET. The last vote is predicted for 3:00 p.m. The House Floor will be cleared at approximately 4:30 p.m. to allow for a security sweep of the House Chamber prior to the President Obama's address. The House will meet again at approximately 7:30 p.m. in a joint session with the Senate for the purpose of receiving an address from President Obama.
