Today on the Hill
The Senate convenes at 10:00 a.m. ET and will proceed to Executive Session to consider the nomination of Thomas Perez, to be an Assistant Attorney General. The Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Perez nomination around 12:15 p.m.
The Senate will recess until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus luncheons.
At 3:15 p.m., the Senate will resume consideration of H.R.3326, Department of Defense Appropriations bill.
The House meets at 12:15 p.m. for morning hour and 2:00 for legislative business. First votes are predicted for 6:30 p.m.
