Today on the Hill
The Senate convenes at 10:00 a.m. ET. Following morning business, the Senate will debate the nomination of Irene Cornelia Berger, of West Virginia, to be U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of West Virginia. Recess will occur from 12:30 until 2:15 p.m. for caucus luncheons. At 5:30, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R.3548, the Unemployment Compensation Extension Act of 2009.
The House is in session at 10:00 a.m. and will meet at noon for morning business. The first vote is predicted for around noon.
