Neb.'s Nelson agrees to health debate, leaving two senators undecided

By Shailagh Murray and Lori Montgomery
Sen. Ben Nelson of Nebraska, one of three centrist Democrats who had been undecided on Saturday's motion to debate the Senate health-care bill, has announced he will vote to bring the measure to the floor.

"The Senate should start trying to fix a health care system that costs too much and delivers too little for Nebraskans," Nelson said in a statement.

But Nelson cautioned that he remains unsatisfied with portions of the $848 billion legislation, including language aimed at restricting federal funds from covering abortions.

His vote Saturday "is not for or against the new Senate health care bill released Wednesday," he said. "It is only to begin debate and an opportunity to make improvements. If you don't like a bill, why block your own opportunity to amend it?"

Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.), another uncommitted moderate, said she would make her decision Saturday morning, hours before the vote, which is scheduled for 8 p.m. Like Nelson, Landrieu has negotiated with Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (Nev.) to shape the bill more to her liking. She has secured a Medicaid provision that could translate into $300 million in new benefits for her home state. "Yes, I've had to bargain for that," Landrieu said.

But she was still studying other aspects of the bill. Landrieu said she spent two hours on the phone Friday with Massachusetts Institute of Technology economist and health-care consultant Jonathan Gruber.

The third Democratic holdout, Sen. Blanche Lincoln (Ark.), has remained mostly mum about the bill, other than to express general trepidation about its effect on her low-income home state. Lincoln is a top Republican target in 2010, and her colleagues believe her doubts are rooted in her sense of political vulnerability, rather than specific policy complaints.

Senate leaders are so skittish about alienating Lincoln that Sen. Richard Durbin (D-Ill.) retreated Friday afternoon from a comment he made in the morning, that Lincoln had informed Reid of her decision.

"In a conversation with reporters earlier today, some of my remarks regarding Senator Lincoln were unclear and have been incorrectly interpreted," Durbin said in a statement.

"Senator Lincoln has had a number of conversations with Sen. Reid about the health-care reform legislation," Durbin continued, but she "has not signaled her intention as to how she will vote tomorrow."

If the Saturday vote fails, Reid will head back to the drawing board to recraft the bill. The most vulnerable provision is the government insurance option, which is opposed by Nelson and Lincoln, along with Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (Conn.) and several other members of the Democratic caucus. But Reid has reassured senators that the bill heading to the floor can be changed through the amendment process, and Nelson's announcement of support suggests that that pledge may be sufficient.

Do not move this “miss mash” of a bill to the Senate floor for debate. The American voters and the Senators have enough information to make a decision.

The health care bill is fundamentally flawed at it core and should be aborted. Amendments will not make it any better. The scope and cost of the bill needs to be honed down to realistic solutions to specific problems in health care legislation.

Use the research, cost estimated and language as background for a new bill that can be supported by the American voters and passed by Senators with good conscience.

It is too important to be used as a political football that will be fumbled and throw the American people back to less medical services available and government rationing of services and needed medications for treatment.

Here is what the American People want: By 51 percent to 35 percent, the public opposes the reform legislation being considered right now by Congress. Last month, a majority opposed the health care legislation by a similar 54-35 percent (October 13-14, 2009). Does this matter to elected leaders whose corruption and wheeling dealing know no bounds? Let's see the Senator from Louisiana gets 100 million to buy her vote. She probably could have received 500 million if she held out a bit longer. We simply have to vote all of these crooks out of office and restore integrity, honesty and common sense to the House and Senate. These attributes are sorely lacking now. People need to come to their senses and put this country back on a track away from the radical ideas that permeate the Pelosi/Reid/Obama cabal.

What did it cost to get Nelson's vote?

All of these so called moderates are being bought off by the POS Reid and Durbin.

This outrageous blivet is an all out assault on our freedom, nothing else.

All of the weasels who vote for it in spite of the voters' objections, should be run out of office on a rail.
Let the protests begin!

Mindboggle: "Here is what the American People want: By 51 percent to 35 percent, the public opposes the reform legislation being considered right now by Congress."

That's funny, Mindboggle. By a majority (and not just a phone poll), the American people VOTED that they wanted President Gore, not President Goofus Bush.

Obama and the Democrats campaigned on reforming health care. And based on this majority vote we should get want we demanded. This isn't perfect, but it is a major start.

Landriue's vote has already been purchased. The price was $100 million. See the piece on the Drudge Report.

government rationing???

Exactly what would you call the non medical care that the 30+ million uninsurred currently get if not rationing.
And how about your employer's management of your healthcare plan, if you want to talk about rationing. Currently, your employer basically tells you which prescriptions you can take and which diagnostic tests are covered under your healthcare plan. How is that(healthcare formularies) not rationing? Are you threatened currently by Aetna, UNH or Bluecross' version of rationing healthcare?

Moving too fast. Harry Truman initiated the debate over healthcare bin the 40s, some 60 years ago. Is that moving too fast.

It cost $848 billion, not much more then Rs spent on Medicare Part D, where they provided zero in offsets to pay for that.

Let's start all over you say. Been there done that in 1994. I would like to live long enough to see reform, something that will never happen under Rs. They had control of Congress for 8 years. How do you like the healthcare bill the R Congress presented to W?

Ok, I keep reading that we need to punt this bill and not try to amend it because of the radical/socialist yada yada yada ideas of Pelosi/Reid/Obama. Why haven't we seen any solutions offered? Why isn't there a GOP bill? That's my biggest problem with this reform. It's all one sided with the other side just saying, "I don't like it" like when my kids were 3 and you asked them what they wanted to eat.

We HAD a two party system. I'm not sure what we have now, but THAT'S what we need to put this country back on track. Intelligent discussion on both sides and less bickering, posturing, and pontificating. The American people deserve better from BOTH sides of the aisle.

I'm just sayin.

Mindboggle you are an ultra-conservative Rethuglican as is evident on other WAPO blog boards today...especially those relating to your hero Palin...who are you then to even begin to know what the "majority" of the American people want? You're a teabagger and as such, you like the rest of your ilk will say and/or do anything to prevent President Obama even a minor victory of any sort during his term. Watch something other than Rush, Billo, and that other idiot whom I refuse to even name, and you will find out for sure what the "majority" of the American people want. We...the majority...sent President Obama to Washington to get us a universal health care program...that's what we want...so shut the f)(k up and watch us the "majority" work--we won...you lost...take your teaparty to Texas where someone might give a sh!+ about what you think!

its all one sided?

Rs have weighed in on what they view as the impt components of the bill, abortion and immigration. That is all that is impt to them, certainly not dealing with exploding costs and inaccessability.
They got their way on their idiotic amendments that will not provide one oz of coverage to the uninsured. And guess how many of them will be voting for the final bill; you got it it nada. Rs are irrelevant when it comes to healthcare, same old tune we have heard from them for 60 years about Medicare, its socialism.

And how could someone from Nebraska, our heartland, knowing what is going on, go along with these blood squeezers. The Government and the Mainstream media are betraying the people like never before. I need my Government more that I need my healthcare. Look at this; the squeeze, the rush, the favors, the bribes, and bending of the law. Where did such despise of this nation from our leaders come from; from what lake of fire has this arisen. Does any of the policy makers understand that we have become moneyless out here. Only government employees with newly printed money are spending. This cannot sustain. No more lies!!! No more lies!!!

I have just figured a way to pay for this Health Care Reform Bill. Botox treatments will be taxed. The Bill should require that Nancy Pelosi receive Botox treatments and the tax on those treatments would certainly be enough to provide health care for all people in this country to include illegals. I should get the Nobel Prize in economics for this brilliant solution.

streff - Actually, healthcare "reform" wasn't a major issue with the Democrats. I certainly wasn't for Obama. I CAMPAIGNED for Obama and THE ISSUE was jobs, re-opening NAFTA and other trade agreements, so that they did not result in job outsourcing. However, to date, under Obama we have outsourced more than 3 million jobs. Those join the more than 40 million jobs outsourced under the Clinton-Bush-Obama train wreck. When Obama appointed Geithner and Summers, he slapped me and every other person who believed in him across the face. Today I wouldn't vote for Obama. I wouldn't vote for ANY Democrat that is pro-free trade. The voters are angry. They want PROTECTIONISM. They want trade tariffs, duties, fees and punitive taxes on imported goods and services. They want taxes on any investor or business that invests offshore and they want companies that build overseas factories to have the snot taxed out of them. Those are the real issues, not healthcare "reform". You go right ahead and drink the poisoned kool aid the leadership is pushing. I is going to cost the Democrat's their majority in both the House and Senate.

There need to be votes. We need to know where everybody stands. The situation is desperate out here in the real world. Abuse and exploitations by huge health insurance, drug and health care corporations is a part of the pain. Yet these privileged corporations and their rich CEOs keep making billions.

Ordinary people need to know whether those presently in office will do anything to help the struggling, instead of the billion-dollar corporations.

Pass strong health care reform now, and then move on to further stimulus to put more people back to work.

reform for the sake of reform is not good enough.

this is far too big a deal to treat with the insulting way obama administration has treated it.

first attempting to get signatures without it being read.
then dropping a Bill the size of nothing ever seen before.
the president himself not being able to answer simple quesitons about it.
UN-read, ADMITTEDLY, by the majority of the democrats.

REFORM, YES, but not reform to make obama look good.... reform for the betterment of american lives. and definitely no government run healthcare.

ONE THING WE DO KNOW::::: government screws any business venture they attempt. so the very FIRST THING is to ELIMINATE ANYY POSSIBILITY OF GOVT. RUN CARE.

This is such a political farce. Sending the bill the debate requires 60%, but when it returns, passing it will only require 50%. This leaves an "out" for all democrats up for 2010 reelection. They can vote against while they already voted for it.
The government can't run a business. It can't even count jobs created. There are other ways to get healthcare reform, but the progressives only want control. Control at any cost. The other political antics are taking cost, such as the physicians and big pharma, out of the bill and putting them in other bills to hide the total cost. This ensures they get below the cost threshold, but by playing games. The total cost for this government run fiasco is over 3 Trillion. Wake Up America!

So....republicons do not want what they always claimed to want...a floor debate and an up or down vote. Imagine that. The title of this article is misleading. The Democratic party is the centirst party. The three wavering votes are all from the conservative wing of the party. The Democrats have a range of people in their coalition, as opposed to republicons who are straight up hard right and then those who are what limbaugh would approve of who are off the political spectrum -- it does not go far enough right for them to actually stay on it. Saying "centrist Democrat" is like saying jumbo large. Redundant. AS for a poltiical left - there has not been one of any significance sine the mid 1960s, and they have not had serious candidates since the beginning of the 20th century with such actual socialist leftists as Eugene Debs.

republicons are funny complaining about the unemployment rate. If it were not for the swift and decisive action of this administration - actions which republicons have fought every step of the way -- -the unemployment rate would be looking like 1933. republicons wanted to allow the financial system to collapse, the auto industry to collapse, cut spending on everything, and do nothing about the housing collapse. Now they are opposing regulation to stop it from happening again, they are opposing regulations that would stop your credit card company from flat out stealing your money....

Unless you are flat out retarded imagine what the country would look like if even one of these was allowed to happen. GM and CHrysler are rebounding in less than 6 months. The financial system still suocks but is rebounding and with propoer regulation and restricitons can be made an instrument for public good again. Stimulus is killing two birds with one stone - employment and decades of infrastructure neglect from republicon mismanagment and funneling money to the rich instead of the roads.

Do you really think God hears prayers from extreme leftist liberals who state that this entire health care overhaul should be done for one reason and one reason only which is to mandate that taxpayers pay for baby extermination, and if the health care bill doesn't do that, they don't want any health care reform for Americans?

NEWSFLASH: TEABAG PARTY MAKES RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ROUTINE HEALTH CARE SCREENING-

a) An annual CAT scan to check for possible brain tumors.
b) Fluorescein Angiography Test, you never know you might have diabetic retinopathy, and so what if you fluorescent dye running through your eyeballs.
c) A Bone Scan to test for possible fractures, and to screen for bone cancer, or to locate any implants Big Government may have secretly inserted in you.
d) An upper GI series, who knows, that bad taste from the McDonald’s you ate may not be what you think it is. Don't you ever watch South Park?
e) A Transrectal ultrasound and biopsy of the prostate, you can never trust that doctor’s index finger, and after all, it sounds like more fun. For a triple header, have this done right after your colonoscopy (see below).
f) A semi-annual colonoscopy, if you’ve ever had one, you know the sounds in the recovery room are a gas (LOL). If one is good, then two must be better.
g) A Cystourethascan, we don’t know what it is, but sounds interesting. What the hell doc, we don't care if Humana won't pay for it unless our bladders are backing up, we want one anyway.
h) Above all, disregard the recommendations of groups like the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, the American College of Radiology, and the likes. We all know that science, by its very nature is built on bias. Statistics lie. These groups only give the impression of being professional groups. "A Gallup Poll released recently offered a disturbing glimpse about the state of play: Just 14 percent of independents approve of the job Congress is doing, the lowest figure all year. In just the past few days alone, surveys have shown Democratic incumbents trailing Republicans among independent voters by double-digit margins in competitive statewide contests in places as varied as Connecticut, Ohio and Iowa."

"In Virginia, Republican Bob McDonnell won a 65 percent to 34 percent victory over Democrat Creigh Deeds among independents in a state where Obama split the independent vote 49 percent to 48 percent against Republican John McCain a year earlier.

In New Jersey, Republican Chris Christie won a 58 percent to 31 percent victory over Democratic incumbent Jon Corzine among independents — a stark contrast to Obama's 51 percent to 47 percent win among independents in 2008."

You mean the girls who are killed by your so-called safe legal baby exterminations?

Thirteen-year-old Dawndalea Ravenell underwent a 21-week pre-birth murder on January 24, 1985 by pre-birth murderer Allen Kline at Eastern Women's Center. The $450 fee was paid for by her 15-year-old boyfriend.

Dawn awoke five minutes into the killing and began to vomit and choke, wherein, a breathing tube was put in her mouth.

"Dawn was left unattended in a recovery room where she apparently awoke, choked on the airway, and suffered a heart attack. This left her in a coma."
Dawn was comatose for three weeks before she died on February 11, 1985.

"In an interview, her mother said, 'They told me I had to come in [to the hospital] right away, that Dawn is here at that hospital fighting for her life. ...I was going - how could she be fighting for her life- she left this morning, going to school, looking healthy, never been sick. ...while I was in the hospital sitting there. ...I had to keep my hand over my mouth to keep from screaming in horror. I could not believe this was happening. I said this is a bad dream, I'm going to wake up and this would not have happened."

When a judge asked Allen Kline if Dawn's age had captured his attention he responded, "Oh no. I've done 13-year-olds before. When they're 10, maybe I'll notice."

Court testimony also showed that Dr. Kline and the staff altered and fabricated medical records in an attempt to conceal mistakes.

"Planned Parenthood Sued for $50 Million for Injuring 13 Year-Old During Abortion"
Monday, June 02, 2008

"Emma Jean Butler is suing Planned Parenthood for $50 million dollars in damages. Butler took her daughter to the D.C. Planned Parenthood on September 7, 2006 to abort a child conceived in rape. During the abortion, the young girl sustained severe abdominal bleeding, severe vaginal injury, severe injury to the cervix, significant uterine perforation, and a small bowel tear.

In addition, parts of the child were found inside young girl's abdomen on September 8, 2006.

Because of these injuries, the young girl will be infertile for the rest of her life."

"Kristan Hawkins, SFLA's Executive Director, remarked, 'This is a horrible situation. Our thoughts go out to the young girl and her family as she recovers from her injuries both from the rape and abortion.

Further, it is outrageous that Planned Parenthood thinks they are excused from being held liable because the young girl was informed of possible risks associated with abortion. In no other medical profession would this be acceptable. How ironic is it that the pro-abortion movement claims they want abortions to be 'safe, legal, and rare' when in this poster case for abortion, the young girl was permanently injured. Making abortion harmful and almost deadly to the young girl.'"

It’s interesting how this bill has striking similarities with the “URGENT,” “SAVE-THE-POOR” constitutions that Venezuelans, Bolivians, Ecuadorians were manipulated, coerced and bribed into approving, constitutions that have taken away people’s freedoms and rights, and that have multiplied poverty and despair.

The medical examiner also found 'a portion of the baby's face and part of the spinal column' of Barbaralee's baby embedded in a large clot inside her uterus. A subsequent investigation noted that although vital signs taken 45 minutes after the abortion showed signs of internal hemorrhage, Barbaralee was not examined again before being discharged."

"In an attempt to estimate the length of gestation in the absence of the whole fetus, the two parts, namely the face, less the crown, and the thoracic vertebral column without the rump, are laid end to end. Together they measure 9 cm. A conservative estimate of the crown to rump length would be 10 to 11 cm. This will place the gestational age at 16 to 16 1/2 weeks."

"Her sister helped her, pale and bleeding, to the car. Barbaralee slept in the back seat the whole way home, approximately a two-hour trip. Her sister helped her to bed.

When Barbaralee's sister checked on her several hours later, she was unresponsive. She was rushed to the Pickneyville hospital, where an emergency hysterectomy was attempted to save her life.

georgejones5, the Barbaralee Davis posting was in response to your post, and here is another example of your so-called safe legal baby exterminations in all these cases, there were two deaths in the family.

Diana Lopez (2002)
Diana Lopez died on February 28, 2002.
"The Los Angeles County Coroner determined that Diana died from a massive hemorrhage caused by "traumatic perforation of the cervix" subsequent to an abortion at Planned Parenthood."

"The Los Angeles County Department of Health, Facility Licensing Division, issued two reports and concluded that Planned Parenthood and its doctor, Dr. Mark Maltzer of Sacramento, were at fault."

"In April 2003, the Lopez family filed a wrongful death suit against Planned Parenthood of Los Angeles and against Mark Maltzer, M.D. They alleged that "Maltzer worked so quickly, recklessly and negligently pulling out sharp body parts of Diana Lopez's 19-20 week unborn infant that severe irreparable damage was done to the cervix causing massive, immediate hemorrhage from a traumatic cervical perforation that caused the death of Diana Lopez."

"Dr. Maltzer bought his Sacramento abortion business from the owners who had employed Dr. Bruce Steir who plead guilty to manslaughter in the death of Sharon Hamptlon in 1996."

In my above posting of the killing of Diana Lopez by Planned Parenthood and their Doctor Maltzer, I stated:

"Dr. Maltzer bought his Sacramento abortion business from the owners who had employed Dr. Bruce Steir who plead guilty to manslaughter in the death of Sharon Hamptlon in 1996."

This is the killing of Sharon Hamptlon and her baby leaving two deaths in the family and a motherless three-year-old:

Twenty-seven-year-old Sharon Hamptlon had a 20 week pre-birth murder at A Lady's Choice Women's Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California on December 13, 1996. The pre-birth murderer and murderer Bruce Steir, "perforated her uterus," and yet Sharon was released, "and she and her family returned to Barstow. The last words her mother remembered hearing her daughter say, on the trip home, were to Sharon's three-year-old son who was with them.

"Sharon told her son how much she loved him then fell silent for the remainder of the trip. When they arrived at their home in Barstow, Sharon's mom tried to wake her up but was unable to. An ambulance was called, but it was too late. She was pronounced dead at a local emergency room."

Dr. Steir was charged with second-degree murder as testimony showed that Steir was aware, before releasing Sharon, that he had perforated he uterus.

During the pre-birth murder, "Steir looked up and told an ultrasound technician that he thought he had pulled bowel out instead of pieces of the baby and the placenta."

"Dr. Steir did eventually serve time in jail for his gross disregard for the life of Sharon Hamptlon."

Democrats voting against even discussing the scam may safe the Democratic party. The longer the scam is allowed to continue, the more the Democratic party is seen as controlled by Marxists and U.S. enemies, whose only objective is to destroy our country and enslave us with socialism/Marxism.

You are right, Mindboggle. The only Americans who support the Obamacare SCAM (in all its Orwellian, manipulative versions) are Obama's accomplices and those who have been dumbed down by a substandard and politicized education as per the warnings of Soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov.

In 1985, Bezmenov told us that our enemies were working hard at brainwashing us (dumbing us down) and would succeed if we did not defend our principles: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/k6KUDv1wzraWhwlBt1

The dumbed down are obviously unable to understand that Obamacare will further contribute to “the American descent into Marxism,” which “is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple…” http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/columnists/107459-american_capitalism-0

AntonioSosa,
I looked up the links you provided yesterday as promised which stated:

"He believes that “Unlike (health care) allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not discrimination.” (the present health-care policy advisor Ezekiel Emanuel)

I also found the following about the same man, whom in his article "Principles for Allocation of Scarce Medical Interventions" which was published 11 days after the inauguration.

"When implemented, the complete lives system produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between roughly 15 and 40 years get the most substantial chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get chances that are attenuated." This may be justified by public opinion, since "broad consensus favours adolescents over very young infants, and young adults over very elderly people."

"Strict youngest-first allocation directs scarce resources predominantly to infants. This approach seems incorrect. The death of a 20-year-old woman is intuitively worse than that of a 2-month-old girl, even though the baby has had less life. The 20-year-old has a much more developed personality than the infant, and has drawn upon the investment of others to begin as-yet-unfulfilled projects.... Adolescents have received substantial substantial education and parental care, investments that will be wasted without a complete life. Infants, by contrast, have not yet received these investments.... It is terrible when an infant dies, but worse, most people think, when a three-year-old child dies, and worse still when an adolescent does."

"Then on March 19, Emanuel was appointed to the Federal Coordinating Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research."

I checked your link to Science Czar John Holdren, and then discovered the following about him on another site from his 1977 book "Ecoscience"

Page 837: Compulsory abortions would be legal

"Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society."

Page 786-7: The government could control women’s reproduction by either sterilizing them or implanting mandatory long-term birth control

Involuntary fertility control
"The development of a long-term sterilizing capsule that could be implanted under the skin and removed when pregnancy is desired opens additional possibilities for coercive fertility control. The capsule could be implanted at puberty and might be removable, with official permission, for a limited number of births."

There should be a couple of qualifiers to the debate over health care reform. First, anyone on Medicare should be excluded from the debate since they already have a "public option" for insurance and are hypocrites when the they oppose it for others. Second, anyone who have received more than $1,000,000 in campaign donations from insurance lobbyists should be excluded from the debate, which eliminates all of the Republicans and most of the Blue Dog Democrats in Congress. All that would leave are elected representatives of regular people who by a majority democratically elected Obama president. If that happened, we actually see "change we can believe in."

MNUSA, the health care systems of most of the "industrialized nations" you want us to imitate have horrendous problems.

Regarding the British system, for example, Daniel Hannan, a Brit who represents South East England at the European parliament, finds incredible that "a free people" like us can voluntarily submit to such a horrendous, expensive and ineffective system like the British health care system. Listen to him: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=204359

Regarding the Canadian system, Canadian Medical Association Dr. Anne Doig says her country's health-care system is "sick" and "imploding." http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,539943,00.html

For meaningful statistics rather than politized "statistics" and anecdotes, check out the numbers surrounding medical tourism.

Apparently, between 60,000 and 85,000 foreigners traveled to America last year to receive medical care. Why would these people come to America if we have lousy health care? It's because we actually have some of the best hospitals and doctors in the world. http://www.zanebenefits.com/blog/2009/08/146/Misleading+Statistics+about+American+Health+Care

We hope our representatives have the courage and integrity to defend us from the criminal Obamacare scam, which seeks to impose socialism/Marxism on us.

As the communists always state we can be patient because all we have to win is one election to gain control. Well, the Democrats have done that and they are taking over the country and manipulating the government to gain total control They will not allow themselves to be ousted by votes. Acorn, the SEIU, unions, and the trial lawyers will ensure that.

Do you really think God hears prayers from extreme leftist liberals who state that this entire health care overhaul should be done for one reason and one reason only which is to mandate that taxpayers pay for baby extermination, and if the health care bill doesn't do that, they don't want any health care reform for Americans?

"But her group's position, she said, is that 'we would rather have no health care (overhaul) than a vicious abortion law.'" (Terry O'Neill of the National Organization for Women)

However do you really think GOD listens to people like you or your ilk who.

1. Want to continue to DENY millions of people in this wealthy nation afforable healthcare coverage, so that THE RETHUGLIWONTs and yourself continue to MAKE A PROFIT FROM THE sick and dying.

2. DO you think GOD really listens to your IMMORAL represetnatives like VITTER, ENGSIGN, PALIN, SANFORD, MCCAIN, ROMNEY, Guiliano, CRAIG, FOLEY
etc who have SINNED continually over and over and over again?? THEN THEN HAVE THE BALLS TO RUN ON A FAMILY VALUES PLATFORM.

Keep thinking your way buckwheat because every SINGLE LIFE IN PRECIOUS and RETHUGLIWONTs SEEM TO ONLY CARE FOR THEMSELVES AND THE UNBORN. THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT INNOCENT CHILDREN or anyone else who DOES NOT FIT IN WITH THEIR

The over whelming majority of the LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS have made it clear,"THIS IS NOT THE HEALTH CARE REFORM WE WANT!"

All Congress is proving by continueing forward with this bill is how CORRUPT and OUT OF TOUCH with THE AMERICAN PEOPLE they have become.

REMEMBER they have their own health care insurance and retirement. The are to good for plain old MEDICARE and SOCIAL SECURITY. That is just for the COMMON FOLKS.

CONGRESS HAS BECOME A DOG AND PONY SHOW.

Interesting, posts such as

are allowed, but a line-by-line analysis and rebuttal of a similar person's post is rejected. I'm amused when I hear right-wingers claim that the Post is a liberal paper.
