Freshman Wallace Out for Season
Virginia freshman running back Dominique Wallace will miss the remainder of the season with a foot sprain that requires surgery. Junior safety Matt Leemhuis (Churchill High) will also miss the rest of the season with a clavicle fracture, although no surgery is scheduled.
Wallace's injury is especially costly for the Cavaliers. He was one of the team's top recruits and one of six true freshmen who have played this season. Wallace finished with 14 carries for 49 yards in three games, including 11 carries for 35 yards in Saturday's loss to Southern Mississippi.

So what happens during the bye week? Do we just keep getting posts about football? Do we get multiple depth chart updates? Practice schedules?
Maybe, just maybe, we can get some updates on ANY other UVA sport.
Can you recommend a website that covers UVA sports? Like, sports other than football?

@colerwilson
Try virginiasports.com or theacc.com for info on other UVa sports. I don't think the Post is paying Zach money to fill us in on the field hockey or volleyball teams. 98% of us want football and basketball news. Maybe in the spring he can throw in some baseball and lax.
If anything, I'd like to see a bit more "insider" coverage of what's really going on behind the scenes with the football team. Maybe talk to some secret sources in the Athletic Dept or a few big donors to find out when our clown of a coach is getting fired.

If the Wahoos played the Redskins, which team would lose?

"colerwilson," try TheSabre.com. It's an unofficial site, but their writers do a very good job of analysis (note that some portions of the site require a paid subscription). The message boards there are almost certainly a major reason why this blog isn't getting more comment traffic--TheSabre has been established since 1996 and so there's a pretty well-established discussion there (although reading it lately may redefine "negativity" for you).

I wish we would lose Groh for the rest of the season...and beyond.
