A very quick edition this morning of because of ACC men's basketball media day in Greensboro, N.C., which will provide some good material for the Cavs Journal for the next few weeks. But there was a football game yesterday, and here's what happened...

Virginia could neither run nor stop the run. Georgia Tech was simply too explosive. Perhaps the Yellow Jackets deserve a higher ranking.
All the Octoberfest stories were put to rest.

Bright notes? Robert Randolph showed some range. Nate Collins excelled at defensive tackle.
