Morning Links

It will be a busy day in Charlottesville today between the weekly football news conference and men's and women's basketball media day. It all means Cavaliers Journal will be busy this week. Here are some stories to stat the morning...

Jeff White puts the final touches on Virginia's 47-7 win over Indiana. Maybe if college football had a preseason, Coach Al Groh would not be on a hot seat. Groh seems to figure out the fifth game. It helps when he receives performances like that from Ras-I Dowling on Saturday.

With Maryland on tap this week, be sure to check Terrapins Insider for all of Eric Prisbell's updates from College Park.

Finally, a daily look around Virginia athletics:

Sunday's Results

Women's Soccer: No. 6 Boston College 1, Virginia 0
Field Hockey: No. 3 Virginia 3, No. 4 Wake Forest 2
Volleyball: North Carolina 2, Virginia 0
