Tuesday Morning Links
Virginia's defense, which excelled in Saturday's 16-3 win over North Carolina, was inspired by old practice video. It also has former quarterback Vic Hall playing a part-time role in the secondary.
Hall's replacement, Jameel Sewell, is doing a better job determining when to pass and when to run.
Even though the Cavaliers earned their first win, no one is permitted to discuss the game. North Carolina fans booed the Tar Heels Saturday, but Virginia Coach Al Groh is not surprised when he hears anyone "boo".
On the other sideline, Indiana fans await a bigger role for Florida-transfer Jerimy Finch. The Hoosiers' depth chart did not change. And The Indianapolis Star's Terry Hutchens writes that Indiana's team this season is in line with expectations -- and that Coach Bill Lynch should be a candidate for Big Ten coach of the year if the Hoosiers continue.
