Morning links

On Josh Barr's excellent Recruiting Insider, he reports that Virginia is chasing a Gonzaga QB. Will he end up playing for Coach Al Groh? If so, he'd come to a program that plays many true freshmen. Groh thinks the true freshmen can help win games. The rate at which Groh is playing them, though, can haunt the program in the future.

Groh is not affected by outside discussion, instead just focusing on advice that remains on his desk. His defensive line has held up this season even with the injury to Matt Conrath.

On the other side, tight end Tervaris Johnson is a player to watch on Miami. Look for the Hurricanes to play more nickel coverage.
