We're entering a lull for Virginia's most popular sports -- no basketball until Saturday, the big football coaching news will likely come after the NFL season conclusion -- but one of the biggest stories of the year happened on Sunday, when the Cavaliers won the national title in men's soccer. The victory concluded a long wait for Virginia's program. It was also an achievement for the ACC, which has the top college soccer in the nation.

As you can read, the men's basketball team is on a break.

A leftover story from the weekend: Be sure to read David Teel's piece on Mike London.
