Moses 'exploring his options'

Fork Union Military Academy John Shuman attended Mike London’s introductory news conference on Monday. Shuman will be a valuable relationship for London, considering FUMA is one of the top prep schools and just minutes from Charlottesville.

Shuman also coaches Virginia commits Morgan Moses and Cody Wallace. Moses was the gem of the Cavaliers’ class last season, but was not eligible. He is still working toward eligibility at FUMA, but he would be the top recruit in this year’s class, too.

Shuman met with Moses on Monday morning to discuss London’s hiring, which pleased Shuman.

“He is happy, wants to meet with Mike and everybody,” Shuman said. “He still is exploring his options.”

Wallace has remained committed throughout the season.

Shuman likes for all of his postgraduates to keep their commitments, and thinks Moses will end up in Charlottesville.

“We want Morgan to honor his commitment, just like we like all our guys to honor,” Shuman said. “There was a hiccup here, but I think Morgan understands they found the right guy.”
